Wow.. Wish I could put more stars!! The first book was something to read. Several listening, reading times, as was this one. Stayed up all night on both of them, two different night, and had to read more. So hard to put down!! It is a book you want to read every word, or you will miss something! One area did start skipping was her dreams, as they all had the same base of what was happening.
This book oh my, the ending had the conclusion of all the secrets, some were revealed throughout the story, but never would have guessed the last ones revealed. It had an epologe, that carried us years in advance, so we know what happened in years to come.
My husband took three days to read first one, and he can read a book in several hours.
I don't often pay for a second one, but I am so so glad I did!! Otherwise the first one was a cliff hanger. Would leave one wondering, and miss the guts of what the first one was all about.
We are senior citizens, to we enjoy reading/listening to the books we can get on Kindle Fire/ Cloud.

This book was truly engrossing. I didn't want to put it down! The characters are still as lovable as they were in the first book.

Despite the fact that a few parts were briefly slow, and there were times when the writing was a bit clumsy, I really enjoyed this book, and highly recommend it. I was anxiously awaiting it after reading the first book, and I'm really glad that the author followed up with the second book.

Underlying the surface story are some very deep, emotionally healing and spiritually uplifting principles. These books are very special. Be sure to read them in order.

WARNING: As with the first book, this book deals with mature themes and I don't recommend it for younger readers.

The story is compelling. At times I was riveted, the suspense real and uncontrived. The secrets revealed one by one about the heroines identity and the identity of those around her formed and surprising. The parallel story of the child's abuse was some of the best that I've seen developed. The council for abuse victims woven into the story by the characters was brilliant. It is a worthy read. Be sure you read the first book before the second, for they must be read in order for the beauty of the plot will be diminished.

I loved this story. It was such a perfect allegory of God's love and sacrifice for us. We may not see the reasons why things happen in or life, but God knows.
The only thing I didn't like about this book was Stewart's accent. Just too much. Reminded me of Jar-Jar Binks in Star Wars.
I would definitely recommend it!
